Amwest Engineering Consult Ltd construction company that is fully registered on the
22nd March 2016 in Uganda with Registration Number 218351 by the registrar of companies as a Limited Liability Company.
The company finds its origins far back in 2004 from the individual ideology of the company director operating in the construction industry unregistered. The name of the company was secured in 2005 and the ghost company could acquire construction works from private individuals and execute the design, architectural drawings, structural works, preparation of bill of quantities, and carried out geotechnical surveys.
Am West Engineering Consult Ltd was later registered as a sole proprietor with the Government of Uganda in 2007 with its headquarters at Kisasi – Kigulu zone Plot 272 with expertise in the engineering consultancy field. Am West Engineering Consult Ltd has been involved in projects ranging from project implementation to completion offering continual functional and technical support in both Uganda and South Sudan.
At AM West Engineering Consult Ltd, we have our own specialized equipment to carry out Am West Engineering and Long Haul fibre projects. AM West Engineering Consult Ltd is the only company in East Africa that owns its own specialized fiber blowing machines for both these types of projects. All other equipment associated with site construction; civil builds, testing, and implementation is solely owned by AM West Engineering Consult Ltd. Should the need arise we are well-positioned in the market to bring additional equipment into the country.

Am-West Engineering fosters a positive work environment for both permanent and casual staff. We organize regular team-building activities at selected venues based on the annual study focus. Our quarterly apprenticeship programs aim to share knowledge with aspiring construction professionals, with successful participants offered employment opportunities in full-time or part-time roles. Additionally, we recognize outstanding employees during our annual Christmas party, inviting distinguished public figures and artists to join the celebration.
